The NFL is making enough money on the Super Bowl. There halftime shows suck for the most part already. This can't help, if true.

It seems slightly greedy. Don't the halftime shows usually already have a sponsor--Pepsi presents Beyonce!
I'm not sure I really even believe this. The article mentions three "finalists." I don't recall ever hearing about "finalists." Usually, they just announce who it is.
Seems like the big hitters--those acts that would actually attract an audience--would tell them to **** off.
And anyone willing to pay to play wouldn't be 'big' enough, so the NFL wouldn't want them anyway.
