Wait a ****ing minute. It was game 4 of the World Series, we haven't been in the World Series in 29 years, AND YOU WERE IN A BOWLING ALLEY?

I bowl in 3 leagues, average 220, and I've bowled multiple 300s and 800s. I think it's safe to say I'm a pretty dedicated bowler. I told my teammates that on nights the Royals play in the World Series, they have to bowl without me because I have to watch the game. At home is fine. In a sports bar is fine. Down at Power and Light is fine. But watching it in a bowling alley isn't fine. There are way too many distractions in a bowling alley, including the fact that you have to stop watching the game in order to throw your bowling ball down the lane 50 to 60 times.

Turn in your fan card. You're not a true fan. You're a bowler who glances up at the TV every now and then to see what the score is.
