Sorry to hear that man. My cousin lost both of his about a decade ago, and he was only about age 22 at the time. After a few years on dialysis, he was able to get a transplant for his mom and is now doing fine for the most part.

Here's hoping you will find a similar path.

Yes, they are. Though it's also covered under Medicare, which I'll have until I get a transplant.
