They announce that they're going to all sorts of places... and they never show up. They were supposed to be at my old high school about a year ago and didn't show up.

Counter-protesting them only confirms to them that people are hearing their message. They LOVE it when people show up to confront them. They're very hopeful that somebody with deep pockets shows up and infringes on their constitutional rights....so they can sue.

If you're truly against Westboro, just ignore them and recommend to anyone else that they do the same. Ignore them and they WILL go away....counter-protest them (if they show) and they'll likely be back.

The funny thing about the protest this Friday is that nobody actually knows WHY they're coming to our town. Obviously it has something to do with homosexuality, but specifically we're all pretty confused.

I made a post joking about a kid getting raped by his dad, and nothing happened. Hootie started a thread fantasizing about which child stars he would molest, and nothing happened. If I get banned for jokingly spelling out a word that isn't even a curse word, then BYE.
