Grigson is the guy whose head will roll. Wonder if Irsay will crack the bank wide open for Harbaugh.
Couldn't happen to a better guy. I don't think I've ever rooted for the Jets in my life, but I did last night. Luckily, he sucks at his job so I don't think he'll have it after the season is over. But look for the Colts to bounce back to 3-2 against easier opponents the next few weeks. And then the Patriots will come to town and, hopefully, make him whimper and try to think of some new way to focus attention away from the fact that he never fixes what is broken with his team. Pagano -- meh. He doesn't exactly have much to work with. No doubt both heads will roll as they blow it up. |

The Colts have feasted on the weak AFC South for years |

Pagano is not a good coach. Take him out of the afc south and I don't know if that team makes the playoffs in any year.

Now you can make a case the chiefs should have got Arians over Reid. |

What no name RB are the Patriots going to embarrass the Colts with this year ? |

Yes, not that it has really helped them too much. When they play the big boys in the playoffs, they tend to fold like a cheap tent. There are two keys to winning the SB: a very good or great QB, and a mentally and physically tough team. They have had the former for 15 years or whatever, but rarely had the latter. And yet they do things like draft a WR in the 1st round. Yeah, that will help your mental and physical toughness. Well done! (not that those two things are ALL you need, but it seems to me that if you don't have AT LEAST those two, you basically have no shot at the grand prize. |

Blount. He's our only big back this year. I half-wish we'd sign some street free agent the Monday before the game and have him drop 200 on them. ROFL |

 "hey, we need to humiliate the Colts, how 'bout we trade a 7th round pick to you for Gray on the day before the game, then trade him back for the same pick the Monday after? I'll throw in a case of beer." |
The Colts without Andrew Luck are basically the Raiders, for all the reasons outlined in this thread. It's almost impressive how old their defense is considering none of them but Mathis were there when Grigson took over.
|
Throwing him under the bus? I don't know about all that... through two games, he has stunk and they are 0-2 vs teams they should beat considering the trajectory that team is on and the weapons they added.
|
Grigson: Let's see, I keep losing because I get dominated in the trenches. I know! I will draft a WR with the number one pick, and spend my free agent money on an old WR with clearly declining skills, and an old RB who still looks pretty good even though he's 32 years old, has over 2,600 carries in his life, and the statistics are pretty clear that at some point soon he will hit a wall and suck big time.
GENIOUS! |
