I think he'll become Alex Smith without the mobility and finish out the year. No more long balls.

RealSNR 11-15-2015 09:03 PM

You either die a hero or live long enough to get benched in favor of Brock ****ing Assweiler LMAO

BlackOp 11-15-2015 09:04 PM

Manning came back for the record.....he cemented his legacy and the football gods promptly humiliated him.

He's still capable of having good games, but he hasn't been right all season. He is on pace to throw 30 INT this year. This was not just one bad game. This was walking the tightrope all season until things finally fell apart.

So if you're Denver, with that defense and an 8-2 record, do you trot Manning out again, or hand it over to Osweiler to play out the season?

notorious 11-15-2015 09:16 PM

7-2.

They'll start Manning again next game.

Manning really hasn't looked good all year but he's been winning and that's what matters...

I want to say something snarky about Denver losing out and then drafting a QB over us, but this isn't the time for it.

Tonight, we drink Donkey Tears and toast the football gods.

Today is the day that Peyton Manning softly retires on the sideline and we sealed the deal even though he got his record.

He is done! We finally have a win against Mr Ten Head after all these years!:clap:

Yes, it's tired and worn out. But it had to be done.

He's 39. His age finally caught up to him. He's ****ing done.

Yep. They really are very lucky to be 7-2. They easily could be 4-5 (having bean swept by KC) or 3-6. They won several games by winning a play here and one there. In Indy they didn't get that and yesterday the Chiefs destroyed them so they needed more than a play or two to win. Just shows that no matter who you are, if your QB play sucks in the NFL, it will catch up with you and you're not gonna win.

Mile High Mania 11-16-2015 07:20 AM

I think this should beyond a shadow of a doubt end any thoughts for those that didn't think 2015 was his final year.

I'm curious as to what his injuries are to this point, maybe he shouldn't have played yesterday. Dunno, but few if any coaches have the stones to make that call.

Give Brock a shot and see what happens... couldn't hurt. How crazy is that though, Manning 1 win away from the record. NFL works out in mysterious ways sometimes.

I'm just damn glad our plans fell through and we were unable to go to that game yesterday, that would have sucked.

Yep. D-O-N-E.
And it was simply AWESOME to be the team that showed the country just how DONE he is / was. The Chiefs rarely get to get over on anyone, but they sure did yesterday. They got Manning, Sanders and they stood up to that cheap-shot Bronco defense all in one game. Best part was that it was IN THEIR HOUSE in front of all those arrogant douche fans. Bet Elway's asshole was puckered all day. LMAO
