I think he meant opt out of glasses.

both to be honestly.

The one thing that kind of frustrated me is that they don't have sample glasses on the counter for crizal and transitions. Just a unisex set that has both. Crizal has their little cardboard display but that only shows you what other people see not what you would see.

My transitions take forever to lighten back up when going inside. They have crizal too. Love them outside but annoying having to wait 5 minutes to see when coming back in.

Transition to contacts if possible. I did it two years ago when I was 50. Reluctant at first, but very easy. Then buy some Oakleys or Ray Bans.

I've transitioned in an out of contacts two or three times. I ended up really liking this last pair of glasses I got and eventually stopped wearing my contacts altogether.

Mine have both, too.

The transition from dark to light doesn't really bother me; they're a bitch to keep clean, though.

Now I am thinking about getting transitions and skipping crizal

I carry a small lens wipe with me, no joke. Coincidentally (or tellingly), it's branded Crizal.

I always have a cleaning cloth in my glasses case.

Had them in my previous pair and got new glasses specifically to get rid of them. I guess I was under the impression that they'd turn into sunglasses when in the sun but they don't. Mine never got as dark as sunglasses and ended up being just more of a tinted lens in the sun. I just didn't like how they looked partially tinted like that. It looked dorky to me. Also I didn't realize that they would not be tinted while in the car which is where I needed the tinting the most. Hope this helps

I wore contacts when I was younger, but as my eyes changed it got to the point where they screwed up my near vision. So the choice was wear contacts and carry reading glasses, or just wear glasses and take them off to read. So I wear glasses. If I was going to do it your way I would have to wear contacts and carry both reading glasses and sunglasses.

My eyes are horrible. But my doc fitted my eyes with contacts any way. He made one eye dominant near, and one eye dominant far. It works great. I was skeptical with my astigmatism. August 2014 is when I switched from glasses, and I haven't looked back. Find a different doc.

My eye doctor does that herself, but I can't handle having the eyes different from each other.

You can do progressive for contacts? Not that it matters. I can't stand putting anything on my eye anyway. Plus I have astigmatism in both eyes.
