I'm on board. Browning has the physical tools, good pocket presence, and its receiving top-notch coaching. I've watched him play a half-dozen times now, and he seems to really be making reads and progressions.

Physically, he's not a freak, but he's good enough.

Wentz, sure. Dak Prescott?

Mississippi State ran a spread offense the entire he was there (and still does). He spent almost all of his time taking snaps from the shotgun.

Dan Mullen is an Urban Meyer disciple and one of the leading spread offense minds in football..

Generally, pro-style is better for development, but I think that's because it requires more complex reads more than the shotgun/under center thing.

If it's a complex passing offense that requires more intense reads, even a spread can adequately prepare a QB. The spread, by design, makes detailed reads unnecessary, though.

The original Erickson/Price spread is what the Patriots run basically. The Air Raid and Read Option take the original spreads concepts in creating one on one matchups and applying them to more passing or a QB option. The original spread is about 55-45 run to pass.

Too. Risky.

This kid is the total package. The Dawgs are leading the nation in scoring, and a lot of it has to do with this guy right here. Watch the video. It talks about him breaking national high school records and gives you some insight into how good he is. Let Alex hold the baton for another year after this one. Let's get the next big thing, not the first thing we can.

Hes a good prospect for sure, but he will go much earlier than the Chiefs would be willing to use a pick on a QB.

Guys we have TYLER BRAY.

GloucesterChief 11-12-2016 01:47 PM

He has lit up really bad defenses and looked completely mediocre against the likes of Utah and Arizona.

Oh I definitely would like a stud quarterback. But those guys picks for quarterback ALWAYS fail, so I have to use their opinions as a handicapper. Lol

So you're saying he's Derek Carr?
