I'm on board. Browning has the physical tools, good pocket presence, and its receiving top-notch coaching. I've watched him play a half-dozen times now, and he seems to really be making reads and progressions.
Physically, he's not a freak, but he's good enough.

Mississippi State ran a spread offense the entire he was there (and still does). He spent almost all of his time taking snaps from the shotgun.
Dan Mullen is an Urban Meyer disciple and one of the leading spread offense minds in football..
Generally, pro-style is better for development, but I think that's because it requires more complex reads more than the shotgun/under center thing.
If it's a complex passing offense that requires more intense reads, even a spread can adequately prepare a QB. The spread, by design, makes detailed reads unnecessary, though.
