Atlanta

Falcons. They are hot. Ryan is at the top of his game. Jones is too. I'm with Otter, gut feeling this way be their year.

Well no shit Sherlock! That's the fun of it. You don't have to sign anything. :D

The NFC playoffs look exciting. Unlike the AFC it could be almost any of the teams.

I picked the Giants. Sort of random but their defense is tough. The shift to Paul Perkins the last 3 weeks looks like they may have found a running game. He got the start finally this week and topped 100 yards.

Pack.

1. Packers
2. Cowboys
3. Atlanta
4. Giants

Their D is getting hot at the right time and Eli is always a threat in the Playoffs.

Bingo. A friend mentioned this last night. The Giants are looking like the playoff Giants again. [emoji53]

I dont see any of those defenses - not even the Seahawks - stopping Atlanta

That offense is red hot and the defense is respectable

The odds makers odds below. Sorry, I can't figure out how to insert the table nicely without HTML. Just to compare to CP results.

Its tough to bet against Aaron Rodgers because he has gotten into a groove, but Atlanta has the more complete team IMO

Surprised Seattle received so few votes.

Looks to me like it's going to be NE vs Seattle, again.

Packers or Giants IMHO

I mentioned this in another thread yesterday, but the Falcons have almost been under the radar. They had one of the best offensive seasons in history. 540 points. 7th highest total in history. Same total as the 2000 Rams, which was their best offensive team during the Martz years.

That said, almost all of those highest scoring teams did not win a title. Of the top 10 offenses ever, only 1 won a title. The Cowboys worry me because it's tough for a true rookie QB to win a title. The winner of that Packers/Giants game is going to be a real threat to go all the way. That's probably where I'd lean.

The Giants have a major issue not being able to run the ball. Their biggest strength seems to be stopping the run. Problem in a matchup vs. GB is that GB doesn't really run the ball that much. Collins and the secondary have been good but I think the Giants matchup better against DAL than the Packers because Dallas wants to run the ball and the Giants can stop it.

Pretty sure it was literally the same thing in 2011. The Giants were 32nd in the league in rushing then, IIRC.
