I think it's more "Ben playing hurt" then "Ben won't play". Ben playing hurt definitely works in our favor.

I seen where the Steelers are something like 7-0 when Roethlisberger throws for less than 225 in a game and are 5-6 when he throws for more than 225.
I am not sure if it helps or not that he is hurt not just because of that but he seems to play hurt a lot and does very well then as well. Being a rapist and all he must like pain.

This is putting a kink in ESPN's breakdown of the Patriots/Steelers AFC Championship this week.

Has it on ice now, he will take the needle, tape it up and play.

CaliforniaChief 01-11-2017 08:30 PM

This is his schtick. "Big Ben's hurt!" OMG, what's wrong! Oh look, he's out there! Look at him moving around despite the terrible pain he must be in. What a hero!

Couldn't care less. We can beat him at full health and we'll prove it Sunday. He's fine.

I said in another thread that immediately after a sprain, it's actually not that bad. You can stand on it, walk on it, run etc. It's not until several hours after the injury that things get bad. Like the next day. I've sprained my ankle a few times, and it's pretty rough. Also, even after the swelling decreases, it's easy to re-injure it with the slightest 'off' movement.

I know that the Steelers have a tendency to blow smoke up everybody's ass, but he could actually be hurt.

He'll play...I have no doubt about that but how much will it affect him?

I think it might be dinged, but they'll just shoot it to the moon with cortisone... (like I would expect us to do)

They said he takes weds off a lot. Some of our vets do as well later in the week. This has never appeared to be an actual issue imo.

TigeRRUppeRRcut 01-11-2017 08:45 PM

It's his plant foot which sucks for him. Chris Jones up the middle will be his worst nightmare

TigeRRUppeRRcut 01-11-2017 08:45 PM

He did throw to some of the receivers indoors after formal practice

ChiefAshhole1056 01-11-2017 08:53 PM

It's a Wednesday practice, I doubt he needs practice reps more than he needs rest at this point. Same deal with Houston, if they miss tomorrow then there could be something, but for now I dont see this any more than "veteran's rest".

TribalElder 01-11-2017 10:18 PM

Was he on a boat with Bieber ?

Pasta Little Brioni 01-11-2017 10:42 PM

He ALWAYS acts like he's hurt. It does suck Denver got them last year WITHOUT Bell, Brown, and Ben really was crippled. What a ****ing joke. We get them fully healthy, Ben milking an "injury", and KC is crippled.

Pasta Little Brioni 01-11-2017 10:44 PM

Oh btw he's expected to practice in full tomorrow dude o.
