It seems like GM's always last longer than they should. Carl Peterson did a lot of good here, but should have never lasted 30 years. Remember Matt Miilen in Detroit? He lasted 7 years despite his teams never once having a winning record. Trent Baalke, AJ Smith, the list goes on and on. GM seems to be the safest job in the NFL. You have got to be really bad for a long time to get fired.
