Even if it's the 2nd round, I've seen this franchise take Matt Blundin and never even promote him past 3rd on the QB depth chart.

I will be happy, but I won't believe the nightmare is over until Alex Smith is removed from the roster.

If they draft Mahomes, I'll probably legit jump up and down.

I'm not much of a fan of the other guys in this draft, but I'd be happy they took someone.

Honestly, I'd be most thrilled if they move up for him.

Start off his time in KC with a confidence move of "we went up to get you"...I think Mahomes could be perfect for us if Andy can reel him in just a little.

How do you think the QBs will fall and how high do you think we need to trade up to get Mahomes?

The second round just doesn't make me feel like they were really trying to find the QB that will be as successful as we all want. It would merely be to appease the fans. It has to be one of the top prospects to make me feel like we are actually trying to draft and develop our own QB for years to come.

Mahomes is intriguing and all but he is also the biggest boom or bust in this draft IMO. He has the worst mechanics of all the prospects. It is hard to correct those flaws. His footwork is absolutely atrocious. His arm motion is long and all over the place. He has a lot of bad habits when it comes to throwing off his back foot.
He has a cannon but that is not enough in the NFL.
