I'm not so bothered by the championship drought. I am more upset that we have only played in one AFC championship game in 47 seasons. Teams like Pittsburgh, Denver, New England have literally played in COUNTLESS AFCCG since then.

Winning a championship is always a huge, huge deal. The real difference between the Chiefs and top franchises is how they feel about Conference championship game appearances. For teams like Pit, Dungver, and New England, its just another game.

For us, it'd feel like a banner season

Sounds to me like they wanted a pay cut from him but he's done doing that... he also had retweeted a post from a guy who said something about him not needing to take any more pay cuts in his career about a week ago.

This. Even a post June cut would save over a million this year.

Yep, at this point you let him play out the year. Hopefully we pick up a pass rusher in the draft this year because we're going to ****ing need him.
