They're equally atrocious and beyond reprehensible.

But encouraging rape and gang bangs as "team building and bonding"?

Look, I might be different than most, but if you and I are teammates and friends, I have absolutely no desire to share the same vagina as you. Not while you're in the room, not behind your back and especially with multiple teammates.

Zero. Zip. Nada.

That's some seriously ****ed up shit, whether it's from a societal or sociological view.

Holy shit. That's absolutely disgusting.

All the evidence needs to be gathered before any judgement can be made.
This is America.
To that point: what was the female wearing on the night of the alleged incident?

There is literally no such thing as "All the evidence."

Of course there is. The total of the material presented by the prosecution and the defense during trial.

Key pieces of that evidence include what the accuser looks like and what she was wearing the night of the alleged train pulling.

Makes me worry about sending my daughter off to college.

You had no concerns prior?
Were you never a 19 year old guy?

WTF difference does it make what she was wearing? If they did indeed drug her that is rape, period.

I agree with you on waiting until all the evidence is presented, but this looks pretty ****ing bad.

I should have said more concerns. But yeah I understand. Once she leaves, all I can do is hope she listened to enough of what I've told her over the years to make good decisions. I've got one year left to burn the into into her brain.

Maybe, just maybe, they're concerned with the massive legal consequences of an action like that. In the real world, adults have to consider those things.

My exact first thought.

I have 3 daughters...

I recall being 19 and in college and yeah, at times there were instances where there would be wild, drunken, unabashed, consensual monkey sex that would take place...which if I think hard about it, yeah, it would concern me if my daughters were as slutty as some of the girls who used to frequent our wrestling house(s).

I never heard of anything like girls being taken to parties, drugged, gang-banged and video taped as some form of bonding experience for any teams at my own college or any of the other universities I would party at... It sounds as if this shit became part of the culture for Baylor football and that's scary as hell. If any of my daughters were a victim in this situation, I would be losing my mind. If my daughters were near that age, they wouldn't be going to Baylor.

Oh yeah this takes it to a whole 'nother level.
I have 3 sons (junior high and high school) and the older they get the gladder I am I only have boys.
I'd be nervous as a whore in church if I had teenage or college age girls.

What she was wearing makes a difference in determining if she wasn't at least partly culpable through implied consent if any physical relations occurred.

Hell, this seems like it was actively encouraged.

I dunno, man - kiddy diddling gets a more visceral reaction than gang-raping a girl hanging out with football players would, but I think the misconduct by the football program is even more pronounced here.

This is some pretty nasty shit.

The ongoing coverup at Penn State should without question have garnered them the death penalty, but did not.

Honestly, I'm not sure how the NCAA could give it to anyone if they didn't give it to Penn State. Even though both Penn State and Baylor richly deserve(d) it
