Sounds like he overcooked them. They'd probably be good with some chipotle mayo and lettuce on a bun.

Oh he did for sure! They're not awful - Lew sensationalizes stuff with food, (so take his opinion as just that.) I can hold a conversation with the biggest foodies on CP and then head to White Castle - I'm really a well-rounded food poster - much more so than NFL football talk.

How do you cook them?

I received an Air Fryer for Father's Day and it's bombass.

No oil. Hickory Smoked Turkey Bacon and Veggie sausage are completely awesome.

Curly fries, chicken nuggets and fish sticks are incredible. No grease, no oil.

I buy the Butterball ones. Usually about $8 for 6 patties. Place frozen patty directly on hot grill, 8 minutes a side.

Done perfect each time. 31g of protein, 11 grams of fat.

The Jennie-O ones done the same way are the consistency of slightly hard paper mache when done.

Although it would be hard to supplant the Kirkland salmon burgers as my go-to easy prep processed meat patty.

probably I'm sure! The box recommends bibb lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes and a dollop of guac.

Dude, it's a game changer.

$99 dollar Black & Decker on Amazon.

Convection fans "fry" the food without oil.

It's amazing.

Will purchase eventually. May scope the reviews.

I get gunshy adding real salsa to things with fake salsa flavor. It's like someone trying to cover bad odors with cologne. Somehow the final product is worse even if you add a premium product.

no no - it's a faint pepper jack flavor - it does pop some though. but yeah - perhaps buy the standard flavor Jennie O or Butterball.

I made a half hearted potshot at one of your fashion posts a few weeks ago.
