Troost Ave. from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. should be experienced by all.

I've been to all the legacy KC BBQ joints...I'll never go to Jack Stack again....unless you're buying

I have to get the beans. They're crack to me.

Shit, that's the other place my buddy told me to go. Is 3 too many for a single meal?

The college basketball museum in the Sprint Center is pretty cool.

Union Station has a mummy exhibit right now with mummies from all over the world. I haven't been yet but I hear it is pretty cool.

Clay can probably hook you and the boy up with his ex.

He's trying to get some fresh meat through her and that could be a real bonding experience.

....if you are into blues, Knuckleheads or BB's Lawnside Bar B Que

Don't go to BB's, if you want to see blues stuff go to a museum. If you want god awful BBQ go to BB's.

Char Bar has a sweet patio if the weathers nice. It's in Westport where the Beaumont Club used to be. They have bocce, croquet, cornhole and ping pong to keep you and your 15 year old entertained. Pretty damn good food too. It's not the best BBQ in KC by any means, but it sounds like you've already been to most of the places people would recommend so I just thought I'd let you know of one of the newer ones. They have a pretty unique weekend brunch menu. Burnt end benny is my favorite. Poached eggs and burnt ends over a biscuit with a smoky hollandaise sauce.

For as many times as we've been to KC, never been to the zoo. Worth it?

LMAO I was gonna recommend North East KC.

There's some good places to eat in Independence Avenue check it out. Kind of similar to the Vegas strip.

Yes. They've improved it a lot. It's quite enjoyable.

This whole thread makes me jealous. Outside of the occasional Chiefs game, it's been 4 years since I made my annual/semi-annual weekend road trip to KC. I guess that's what having someone else's opinion to consider and having a kid do to you.

Kids suck. Should have saved the money and bought a house.

Took a work group out last week and had a blast.

Boulevard Tour > JackStack Freight house > Skybridge to Union Station > Streetcar to P&L > Partied > Hilton President

For a 15 year old... I'd do none of these. lol
