Because it's Texas and they have an endless pool of talent to take from.
This is a program that should be top 7 year in and year out. Thank God they don't no how to hire winners at the coaching position.

They are good at recruiting, but they are experts at shitting the bed and that outweighs whatever great recruits they are.
I wouldnt let them near the top 25 till they can prove it on the field.

Probably true to some extent, but that seems like it's just as much or more about overrating Notre Dame every single year, too.

If Maryland has a pipeline to NoVa and Eastern PA they could pull in some pretty good talent.

VT being down means the best talent in VA is not staying in VA anymore. Plus College Park is a hell of a lot closer to NoVA than Blacksburg is.

You are correct. High school defenses in Texas are horrible as well.
