I got the update on my ESPN app, but I have no idea who Roy Miller is.

Probably just "arraignment" at this point.

carcosa 11-11-2017 12:36 PM

JFC

That’s kind of hard to do when you get hired long AFTER the draft and free agency

Also, Butker says hello

Toub wanted to draft him in the draft. Keep swinging.

Buehler445 11-11-2017 12:49 PM

Well. Bye.

It’s still a move that Veach made. He trusted his coaching staff, which appears to be the theme with a lot of our hits in the draft over the last few years.

But again, why are you so harshly judging a GM’s moves when he was hired after the draft and free agency? It’s damn near impossible to do anything of real significance starting at that point. You’re ****ing reeruned.

“Keep swinging” the irony LMAO

I will always be a Dorsey loyalist it was an idiotic move to fire him. You're right though Veach hasn't had a fair shot but I will say Dorsey would have found a serviceable lineman off the scrap heap or a CB.

To be fair, I live in Jacksonville and couldn’t name one player on that team except for their QB. He apparently played for the Jags for 4 years, which would explain his anonymity and his overall level of suckiness.

What "serviceable" corners were available?

Dorsey only found competent players off the waiver wire when the Chiefs had the #1 priority for the first 3 weeks of the 2013 season.

Mitchell was a nice waiver claim last year but he'd been with the Chiefs off and on since 2014, so he wasn't exactly a newbie.

Also, there's a major dearth of talented offensive lineman across the entire league so I highly doubt that Dorsey would been able to identify a legit starter at guard or center when Morse & LDT were injured.

KChiefs1 11-11-2017 01:26 PM

Who?

I'm sending the Buttkicker to your house.

When Jeff Allen was injured in the 2014 opener, Dorsey couldn't find anyone "serviceable", so they signed Mike McGlynn at left guard, who was absolutely atrocious all season long.

Worst guard in the NFL.

Bwana 11-11-2017 01:39 PM

Well crap, this is really going to hurt the Chiefs run defense.......wait.
