It's not gonna happen. But, I doubt it'd be hard to find a few dozen women that he's groped.

Apparently, there’s a clause in which the owners could enact which would force Jerry to sell the team. Of course, it has less than a .000001% chance of happening but the clause is there for a reason.

Finding a buyer would take less than an hour. There are plenty of Texas billionaires, let alone billionaires across the country, that would jump at the chance of owning the Dallas Cowboys.

The Clippers, a 50 year old team that’s spent most of its history as a laughing stock of the NBA, was sold for $2.5 billion almost immediately after Sterling was forced out.

The Cowboys would sell even more quickly.

God I hate having to back Jerry Jones, but that **** Goodell needs to get canned in the worst way. Everything he has touched has turned to shit.

The NFL is over 3 times as lucrative a business since Goodell took over as commissioner.

And their fans have grown to hate them for it. It's fine if he's who they want, but I'll feel no sympathy as they continue their ratings decline.

This.

I watched maybe a total of 20 minutes of football this weekend. And that was only because I was waiting for the wife to get ready to go over to a birthday party. And I stopped because I remembered that I had to pick up dog shit on our side yard.

Ratings will decline (even though some games and weeks are up over last year) due to streaming and the way people watch TV these days.

But once again, there is no other program that can draw 20 million plus viewers, per game/episode each week, like the NFL.

The hatred for Goodell kind of confuses me. He is nothing but a mouthpiece for the owners, a fall guy for all the greedy and hypocritical decisions they make. Anyone hating the commish is really hating the owners.

Also, there is some precedence for the ouster of Jerry Jones.

In the late 90's, Eddie DeBartolo was forced to sell the San Francisco 49ers, due to an illegal bribe in Louisiana.

The 49ers were a model franchise, having won 5 Super Bowls under his ownership and he was known throughout the league as the best owner in the NFL.

He's also in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Again, I'm not saying that it will happen but just the idea that the owners are discussing it is actually kind of mind-blowing.

It happened to Donald Sterling, so it's not outside the realm of possibility.

Sterling was a racist and outright despicable person, on top of essentially tanking year after year to pocket as much money as he could.

Jones is, from what I can tell, just being disagreeable. Like was mention, this is a league that put up with Al Davis for decades, so one would think they have a high tolerance for this type of stuff.

The point was that owners of sports franchises have been forced out in the past and Jones wouldn't be the first.

I hate Jerry, but I am applauding him for forcing the compensation committee to openly discuss Gooddell's contract talks with the rest of the owners. I'm also glad RD's demands leaked to the public. **** that man.

Why not force Spanos family out, and send that team back to San Diego or on to San Antonio. That would be more productive for the entire league.

I wouldn't be shocked if we found out that Jerry leaked the Goodell demands for his contract.

O he did, because he thinks its crazy...... When they voted to let this group handle the extension, he didn't think they would hand everything over to this idiot he asked for.

Jerry Jones was on the Owners side last time during the CBA. This time I'm not sure.

Not to mention alot of owners around the league owe Jerry favors.

Can we get rid of both? Jones AND Goodell?

See now, this I can get on board with. If it HAS to be one or the other. I want Goodell gone yesterday. These REF's are trash.....
