I think he'll end up in Arizona. I have no idea how much money

ILChief 02-12-2018 10:22 AM

Minnesota. For too much

The Franchise 02-12-2018 10:25 AM

Minnesota. Easily the best team and they have the money to pay him.

bigjosh 02-12-2018 10:29 AM

He is chasing the coin.

I think Denver. Elway understands the importance of the QB position. What has he spent, now? Three first round picks? And gone in for Manning? I expect them to be aggressive again. I hope that means signing Cousins to a monster contract.

New World Order 02-12-2018 11:32 AM

Minny

If he cares more about winning than money, he'll take less than the others offer to go with the Vikings

Three first round picks? Lynch was the only first rounder since Elway took over... are you counting packaging the 31st and a 3rd rounder to move to 26 as using 2 first rounders? Brock was a R2 guy. And Tebow was before John took over.

Jacksonville is kinda screwed. They have the fifth year option on Bortles and they will pull a Chiefs and give him a prove it year, and regret not getting a legit qb when so many are available.

I think a Cousins ends up in Minn. great spot for him.

Okay I was counting Brock and, more erroneously, Tebow. Other than those things my post was very accurate.

Yeah, aside from those two... :D Honestly, if they go for broke and sign Cousins, I hope they spend the 1st and 2nds on guys like Nelson and Wynn (OL). Nelson should be there and someone like Wynn in R2, why not load up on the OL and really try to fix that thing.

I'd still like to see them swing a trade with CLE for Joe Thomas, he has a couple of years left and should be good to go after the triceps injury. If I read it correctly, Browns have him with 1 year left - pretty reasonable deal. Maybe they can get something out of it, like Talib - straight up. I'd go for that...

Sign Cousins, trade Talib for Joe Thomas... draft two stud OL with the first two picks. Gotta fix the freaking OL or it won't matter who is playing QB or several other spots.

One of the WRs is gone - Sanders or Thomas.

Sanders has 2 years left, good trade value. And, he is only $2M dead hit to drop him, saves them $10M by doing that.

Thomas has 2 years left, again - solid trade value. And, he is a $4.4M dead hit to drop him, saves about $8M by doing that.

Considering the two - they would likely try to move Sanders first. And, I'm fine with that... they can find another guy to play that role, although I do like him quite a bit.

They need to look 3-4 years out, not just 2018/2019 and to do that, you need to move some faces around.

**Not a cap expert, but I think I read those contracts correctly

Cousins goes to Minnesota. Denver signs Keenum. Drafts a QB at 5 who busts, and Keenum sucks again.

QB genious Elway has pulled off the double triple crown of suck. 6 QB's all terrible.

Nickhead 02-13-2018 02:54 AM

there is a bad aura about elway. i am waiting for the shoe to drop where some female states she has been sexually harassed by him. if not, my wife has gladly volunteered to make such an accusation towards him. she knows how much i love the chiefs and hate elway :D
