Saints got bit by the "weight on the QB" flag on back-back plays.....not sure what the **** a guy is supposed to do? You bullrush a QB straight on and tackled him...what are you supposed to do?

I actually agree with this. Are you just supposed to stop? Potentially letting the QB get away?

It's like how the **** are you supposed to tackle a QB? This will cost some teams some big games before they even think about changing the rule. It's one of those that sounds good but is rather impractical.

Lucky for us Sutton’s scheme fits perfect to counter the rule. We avg 1 or 2 sacks a game, we prefer to keep our best pass rusher in coverage and we get that rare two or three blitzes a game. We got it covered.

I think it essentially comes down to you have to arm tackle the QB around the waist only...anything else is a flag

Maybe the other strategy is the Cam Erving strategy. Start offensive linemen who will let the defenders get close to the quarterback. That'll be a 15-yard gain on every play.

yeah and the more i think about it..these defensive players should know by now. wrap them up and fall down so that they fall on you. Its bullshit but they should know by now you cant lead with your helmet and you cant fall on them. Figure it out
