He's played primarily SAM in Dallas but he's also been a backup most of his career. I think he's started like 12 games total.

Here’s what I’m thinking:

Spags and Veach know that they could opt to only use the SAM player in base packages. He might only play like 30% of the time. So it could be a cheaper option to fill that position with limited snaps.
