JFC! There is no such thing as vegan bacon. Bacon is from pork belly. Get it? What ever vegan crap you try to pass off as bacon is a lie.

Yeah its pretty Facon Gross if you ask me! :D

My Sis in law is Vegan, she once told me she bought some dip at Costco I think and thought it was Vegan. She found out it wan't and was pretty pissed off about it. She said she knew it wasn't vegan because it tasted too good!

I don't know about everybody else but I believe life is too short to eat crappy tasting food.

Vegans are people from the Raiders’ new hometown, right?

RetiredSeniorChief 04-23-2019 11:35 PM

Why do vegans try to make their food look and taste like meat? It's not like I try to make meat look and taste like vegetables.

Just stick with Morningstar. Cutting prices on an already flavorless substitute doesn’t seem like the best option.

Chris Meck 04-23-2019 11:49 PM

I was a vegetarian for about 4 years. (Wife had cancer.)
There is no satisfactory bacon substitute. Anyone who says there is...is a dirty, no good liar.
You can get by on your burger cravings for like crappy little diner burgers with the morningstar stuff and dress it up. It works. It's okay.

But not bacon. How did I revert? I literally asked for no bacon on a very hungover breakfast morning at a diner while on tour. Waitress forgot; set the plate down in front of me with four perfectly seared strips of bacon on top of my eggs.
"Oh, my god, I'm sorry!"
"Don't you touch that plate."
Nothing ever tasted so good in all my life. And I'm a foodie asshole with Michelin Star chefs for friends.

*yes, I ate eggs while vegetarian. **** off. I ate cheese too. Kiss my ass. :)

Lost Vegans. Not all of them. Just the clueless ones. They only eat cocaine and hopes and dreams.

sorry, once you go vegan you can't have anything like bacon. You gave that up. There's no substitute.
