Contrary to my recent behavior and posts, I'm actually feeling quite good about the team...

I think the bye is coming at the perfect time, if Frank Clark continues to play like he is and this defense continues to gel, I think the last 5 games will go quite well.

Not worried about the offense at all, I think Monday was more down to the God awful field...

I'm optimistic for once! LMAO

at least 20 Chiefs right now are still asleep after pounding shots last night so let's pump the brakes for a few days

We need Baltimore to lose two games. I know we could beat New England and also have them lose two more games on top of that, but I'm not counting on that cupcake schedule of theirs doing shit for us.

Baltimore has: @Rams, 49ers, @Bills, Jets, @Browns, Steelers

That's our best shot, and I don't know about the likelihood of that happening. They probably have one loss in that mix, but I don't know about two.

I don't see another loss this season, and that includes in Miami in February.

Deberg_1990 11-20-2019 11:13 AM

Nope. What you see is what you get.

NY Times playoff predictor puts the Chiefs at 84% chance of getting a bye if they run the table. It's the running the table thing that's the problem.

Veach, Sppags, and Andy need to take a hard look at the DE position. If they don't think Okafor is going to be back at or near 100% they need to shore that up. I'm not sure if Jones can fill that spot for 3 downs and I like him on the inside better.

Other than that, most of our wounded should be OK and in shape by the Faider game.

And the Bears... and the Raiders a few years ago... and the Bengals the year before that... and the Cowboys the year before that.

It needs to.
On 1 Dec, KC needs to unleash hell on the Raiders; a statement game that puts the league on notice that KC's half-assing is over and that our end-state is the SB. Make an example of the Raiders with an epic, total dominance beat-down the likes of which hasn't been seen in a decade.

Do it.

Should be interesting... during Andy's tenure in KC:

2018, KC played @ OAK after the bye week and won.
2017, KC played @ NYG after the bye week and lost in OT.
2016, KC played @ OAK after the bye week and won.
2015, KC played @ DEN after the bye week and won.
2014, KC played @ SDC after the bye week and won.
2013, KC played @ DEN after the bye week and lost.

Andy is 4-2 in KC after the bye - all road games.

So, this will be the first home game for KCC under Andy after the bye week.
Chiefs are 2-3 @ home this year after losing the AFCCG @ home in January.

OAK is a better team now than they were in week 2 and KCC has been inconsistent and injured, so this will be an interesting one for sure.

Hell, in 1985 ... Denver went 11-5, finished 2nd in the division and missed the playoffs entirely.
