If there is one minor flaw or weakness in Tyrann's game is that he dropped about 3 EASY INT's last year including one right in his hands and another in the post season.

Mathieu at #1 is pretty controversial. Personally, I'd put Derwin James, Jamal Adams and Harrison Smith over him, for sure.
Kevin Byard is, and pretty much always has been, underrated. If we're weighting off of 2019 seasons heavily then Minkah Fitzpatrick would probably slide above him as well, though I think he needs to prove he can play at that level for another season or two. |

"At his peak, for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2015, Peters had eight interceptions, two touchdowns and 26 (!!) pass break ups as a rookie (pause for absorption)."
From the article lol Peters is such a beast. He has to be one of the most gifted CBs in league history. Damn shame he's got so much baggage. |

Yet someone else over rating Marcus Peters.

Peters - #2 CB, he just needs a great defense around him to really shine. o_O

Strong safety is in kind of a lull.
No Polomalu or Lott. Not even a Reed anymore. There are still qualitity athletes, but no one has the dominating SS presence past luminaries have had at the moment. |
Mentally, Mathieu is playing a completely different game than everyone else. Not sure I've ever seen another player defend three different players in around a second on one play.
Dude is 5'9" 170 and has torn both ACLs. He shouldn't be able to do the things he's doing. For whatever reason, God put Matrix-level safety protocol in Tyrann's brain and the Chiefs are the beneficiaries. |
