Funny I'm crazy OCD about symmetry and I have no issue with this.

As far as I'm concerned, they'd look far more out-of-place of one of them was pointing backwards instead of forward.

That's the marching flag on the soldier. It symbolizes the army marching forward and the flag blowing behind. My uniform had the same flag for the 32 years, I wore it.

Yeah, someone on page 1 pointed it out though. When you walk forward (in this case, the individual appears to be), the flag would be flying in this direction.
