Why the **** would we need this thread? 21-1 the last 22. "Reasons for hope" GTFO of here with that shit. We aren't the Browns
|
Main reasons for hope:
The Chiefs turned over the ball 4 times and were -3 in TO margin... and still won handily. 3 of those turnovers required tremendous defensive efforts to pull off (Howard INT, Hardman strip - he had no idea there was a defender coming off the sideline, and first tipped INT was great effort and agility by Van Ginkel) They moved the ball at will against one of the better defenses in the NFL. Sammy Watkins made an impact in the passing game The DL played better early and made a bigger impact. Mike Danna especially stood out. Jones disrupted the game consistently. Concerns: The OL is in rough shape ^ That’s it. Literally the only NFL team I can see as a real threat to the Chiefs quest to repeat is the Rams, primarily because Donald, Brockers, and Floyd are a scary matchup for the Chiefs’ O. |
Looks like a few teams could get hot and go all the way. Not sure that's much different or 2020 has just numbed me

The OL needs help. Whether it's Wis off the practice squad or moving folks around some they need to do something. Like wondering if the defense was good enough last year the whole way to the OL this year. Every time they've faced a good DL, PMII has had to run for his life and the run game is crap. Somebody is gonna knock them out of bounds at the 10 in this "run it back" year if they don't figure it out.

Hope: Everyone else has major flaws as well.
Concern: Our line is beat up nearing the playoffs. Hope: Theres time for them to get healthier. Concern: I'm kind of out of ideas. |
Hope:
They’re head and shoulders better than everyone when they care Concern: Sometimes they don’t give a shit for stretches and still win Chiefs fans seem to struggle with the whole “were the best team in the nfl” thing. Sure, they may lose. Everyone does. But damn |
