And at that point it's like every outdoor stadium in Southern California... hot every once in a while.

For 5 billion your stadium should probably have AC

Nah we have to summon him, but the old gods have forbidden such rituals.

But then it would cost $5.3 billion (or whatever) and the cost to run A/C in a stadium is like $15k/day. It's not like they would just throw in a free A/C because they spent so much freakin' money building the thing.

It's like when people bitch about a rear camera being standard on a $20k Toyota, but not on a $60k BMW.... if it was an option on the Toyota, it would be $19,800 without a camera... and if it was standard on the BMW, it would be $60,200.

And guess what... if they spent millions on A/C, people would bitch about wasting money on A/C that's only used once in 2 years.

Chargers fans are unaffected by this due to the fact that they don't exist.

But in all seriousness, did everyone read the article? It seems to indicate that they use passive cooling techniques.

LMAO
Oh, Rainman...you're cute.

CP is built upon a few principles...one of which is never, ever, reading the article.

Typically when it's hot on the coast it's due to Santa Ana conditions. Meaning the hot air is blowing in from the Deserts traveling over the mountains, compressing and getting hotter as it blows down and out to sea.

Not going to get a cooling effect in that stadium when the wind is blowing out to sea.

Not real hot though, since they almost never have to use A/C.

I had season tickets to their games for a few years when I used to live there and the September and October games were pretty brutal. Guessing it was just as bad or worse in Tampa and Miami.
