Opens tonight PBJ

I hope this doesn't suck. Gunn seems to have a good handle on GotG, so I'm optimistic.

And really, Marvel could use a legit hit after the subpar showing (movies mostly, but some shows as well) that was Phase 4.

Enjoyed it quite a bit.

Spoiler!

No spoilers

Saw it tonight with my kids. We liked it. Not great, not terrible. I’d give it an 80 Rotten Tomatoes. Not up to par with Guardians 1 and 2, a different tone. If you’re a fan worth seeing of course but don’t get too excited.

LMAO True. May have graded it on a curve since the rest of Marvel recently has been absolutely shit but I think it's still a legitimately good movie

I'm not going to harp on it too much since it is faithful to the comics, but really could be done without that talking dog. Or at least what they did with it for most of the movie.

Talking dog fell a little flat. Like the rest of the movie, it was ok but didn't add much.
There was a Drax poop joke that I'm sure the writers thought would hit the mark. In our theater, not a single chuckle out of that line, crickets.

So I gotta know before I go see it...just for my kid's sake.

They keep adding all kinds of dumb shit with CGI in these Marvel movies that are completely ****ing stupid looking and unnecessary.

Definitely worth watching, and I’ll probably see it again. I enjoyed this more than most, if not all, of the Marvel movies after Endgame.

No Way Home is the only one I'd put above it.

That’s what I was thinking. Both of those have stood out above the others, although I did enjoy Antman, too.

Easily my favorite since Endgame.

James Gunn movies have so much heart.

Absolutely loved his version of Suicide Squad, and can't wait for his DC stuff.
