Gunn must have convinced the powers that be he needed this film and the Flashpoint premise to set up his new universe, somehow. Maybe.

That and this movie may actually be good too

The Flashpoint storyline is fantastic, I hope it turns out well. And I'm stoked about Keaton - I wonder if they'll go full No Way Home and have anumber of alternate characters in here.....

Jeez Michael Keaton is 71 isn't he a bit old for Batman?

I've seen rumors that Christian Bales batman might be in this as well.

So it's No Way Home with Batman instead but The Flash is the MC?

Looks like it. And a SuperGIRL instead of a SuperMAN.

DCEU is playing eternal catchup with the MCU, and now looking unoriginal doing it. I'll still see it just to see a facsimile of Flashpoint on the big screen, but yeah.

Saw the trailer during the Super Bowl and said "Oh, I figured they'd drop the Flash with all of Miller's issues." Guy is a POS.

This movies been around for a year or so maybe more. They've kept it cause it sounds like it'll be good and the studio is behind it. Gunn will use this to reset everything and to be where he is going with the dcu. I don't expect them to keep Ezra Miller going forward either. They won't say that now though.
Aquaman 2 will probably be the last movie of the Zack Snyder DC.

I'm excited to see what Gunn will bring moving forward. DC shouldn't be a mixed bag at best in movies.

No idea, but I don't think Gunn called for it.

Theoretically they could make Calle's Supergirl an elseworld character depending on the success of the movie (which I think it should do well).

It was supposed to come out in November 2022 before being pushed to June 2023(which coincided with Miller's behavior).

Gunn didn't say one way or another if Miller will be back as they're getting treatment for their mental health, but I'm 99% certain Miller is gone.

I read a comment on social media somewhere that Bale's Batman was rumored to be in it. It could be a completely unsubstantiated rumor, but that would be fun and audiences would go ****ing crazy.

Don't think I've ever heard of this guy, so what's the cliffs notes version of what he's done?
