How many QB sneaks did we run with our QB1?

Your argument isn’t logical. Before you can blame our poor third-and-short conversion rate on refusal to run QB sneaks you need two additional steps. First you need to demonstrate that QB sneaks are more effective than non-QB sneaks in converting 3rd and short. Second, you need to demonstrate that the Chiefs are as effective as the rest of the NFL in converting third and short on non-sneak plays as the rest of the NFL.

I don’t doubt the effectiveness of the QB sneak. I do doubt the effectiveness of our offense to move the pile on any third and short play.

I'd like to think that the strength of our front line, the IOL, could effectively convert QB sneaks.

Problem is, all the other teams know that we don't do QB sneaks, so they can plan around it to their advantage.

It's a weakness that's being exploited, no different than daring a pass-heavy offense to run, or vice versa.

Grey was touted draft day as a possible H or move TE/Back. It appears he's finally to the point they feel comfortable playing that role.

I look at his occasional contributions year 1 as unimpressive. Year 2 there was a moment here or there I assumed Kelcee had made a catch. That ain't bad if here or there you can look a bit like one of the greatest to ever do it.

I think he's got the ability to be a solid TE/H for us. Not Kelcee - but solid. A positive contribution.

I'm a fan of 3 TE sets. While 6'3", 240 lbs. doesn't scream FB, he can sure be in motion as a H-back. He's a better blocker than many give him credit for.

I really thought he was going to be our **** Buddy.

What a disappointment.

Moving away from fullbacks just makes sense with the modern game, it gives you a multi-dimensional player instead of a one trick pony

Using Gray like San Fran uses their full back makes sense.

FBs are now obsolete, but KC had two of the best ever in TRich and Kimble Anders.

patrick's about to break the TD record and everyone will complain 7 of them were passes inside the 3-yard line to gray
