Hoping it works out. It takes two to get a deal done. Chiefs will be fine either way.

Chris wants all the monies...figure it out

Does Chris Jones have any say in trades per his contact? Not gonna happen, but just curious.

That was before the draft when KC could still somewhat address WR. Trade Chris Jones at this point in the offseason and the defense takes a huge hit. Imagine a DL with what, Nnadi and maybe Wharton as your starting DTs? If they were goi to trade him they should have done it before the draft or at least drafted or signed a DT.

If the Chiefs trade Jones they’re idiots.

I bet you said the same thing about Hill.

When he hugged Goodell after winning the Super Bowl. Rodger said, give the fans drama!

I hope he gets paid. But again, in Veach I trust.

I saw Chris Jones eating a pack and a pound of potato oles at the Taco Johns in Bonner Springs. The deal is done.

Idk, what does that say to veterans or potential FA’s that after the Mahomes mega-contract we’ve seen OBj, Hill, and now potentially CJ all leave due to an inability or unwillingness to extend them? Signing Mahomes meant KC occasionally has to make hard decisions, but you can’t simply let every single high priced player walk.

That being said, if Jones leaves then so be it. But might as well go all in on offense, go sign Higgins or someone similar in FA next year.

He is still under contract this year, I would guess any trade wouldn't happen until next offseason due to a lack of a new deal

They extended Jones after Mahomes.

What? They extended Tyreek once already, they extended Chris Jones once already and they had a offer for an extension in hand for Orlando Brown Jr but he stupidly turned it down.

Still think he signs but probably what he's asking...he should be higher than Williams
