I can't help you out but offering condolences on your mom.
I went through the same scene a couple of years ago, as my mom passed suddenly and me and my sister were watching my dad. It got to the point we couldn't do it anymore and we had to put him in a memory care unit.
Tough times. But ultimately it was the right decision as he needed care around the clock.
