Still hunting for my Fury, Ed.

Picked up a 2013 VW convertible bug for the wife. Found it in Hilton Head. 20k miles. Owned by the proverbial elderly woman from HH. Drove it to church and tennis with her friends. Had health issues and she sadly had to give it up.

I had actually agreed to purchase a 1969 383. Console. Big pretty car. Got there, used the magnet in a sock like you mentioned and discovered underneath that new paint was a ton of bondo.

Talked to the guy for a while. Straight up asked him about it and he said he mentioned it in the ad. Pulled up the ad and said “No, you didn’t mention it at all”.

He got irritated and I said “No sale”.

So, I’m still kinda hooked on the fury cause my Dad would bring them home from the dealership and I’d get play around in them.
