Reminds me of a bandwagon fan I ran into this week. I was wearing a Chiefs ball cap and so he brought them up. He was very disgusted with them and how they failed this season.

I said, are you serious?! They have far and away exceeded anything I thought they would ever do in my lifetime. I remember back in the 80s just hoping they would make the playoffs. This year they made the Super Bowl AGAIN!

He then proceeded to change the subject to how he knew someone that is a pilot for the Hunts.

We win, they whine. The crappy teams are given multiple advantages through the salary cap, free agency, and the draft. The solution to defeating the Chiefs won't be found by whining about the Chiefs. The solution will be found by making their own teams better.

I think getting our asses totally kicked each time made them easier to get over. A heartbreaker or last second loss would be so much worse. There wasn’t that one moment or play that decided the game that haunts you for weeks. Just complete and utter domination. Not our day. You just tip your cap and move on.
