Build your own play list.

Haven't used the DJ one yet.

Realplayer is a vulture just like that damned quicktime. Why do people who write programs feel compelled to stick them in my registry so they start up when my PC does?

Also realplayer doesn't offer multiple sorts or a crossfade routine.

The TV guys were all worried about spending ther $12,000,000 budget on the first day of the show.

seems like you have to be internet ready to operate the software. The PC in use will not be connected.

Well, found what I wanted.

PCDJ seems to be the thing

Mix, fade, tag editing, and a simple console of two side by side "CD players" to use for commands.

Oh, I also bought Monkey Media Gold Version. For anyone who wants to rip music, tag it, apply genre's - years - albums - notes - etc and then dump to an Excel file instead of typing it all out again, this is the program. I solely used dbPowerAmp for my conversions in the past. But Monkey Media blows it away.

PCDJ gets rave reviews from some, others cannot stand it. I bought it when I first went digital, and it crashed on me constantly. It was the software the pushed to me to OTS after PCDJ crashed four times during a wedding. It is one of the software packages that I don't hate, I just get mad that I can't run... I like the feature set. Good luck.

Windows Media Player made some VAST improvements with version 10. I use it and I love it. It has everything that MusicMatch does (I used to use ONLY MusicMatch) and it comes with Windows. It'll do everything you requested and way more.
