Babb continues to do great work exposing the fraud that is Fat Scott.

this idiot just said justin houston starts ahead of aldon smith. maybe you should interview for chiefs GM
|
The best player on the roster as it stands in my estimation is the nickle corner Javier Arenas, I think he'd have a shot at starting at nickle for most teams. (not best player but best at what he does.)
|
It is a shame that no one in the KC media has the balls to ask Fat Scott any of what Babb mentioned.
Len Dawson especially is gutless. He has nothing to lose... there is no way in hell the Chiefs can fire him from his radio job. Clark would not allow it. Yet he sits there in an interview with Fat Scott that KMBC hyped relentelessly and practically gave him a blow job. |

ROFL
I just had the unfortunate urge to listen to Roleo's press conference. Someone asked him about how he's dealing with all the public outrage and problems. He said, "You can't please everybody all the time." and the media goofs just let it pass. Nobody asked the obvious follow-up, "When are you planning to please somebody once?" I don't know why I listened to that dumbass. A major case of clicker's remorse. FAX |

He has a great read on people and is also quite the wordsmith... from enlightening and entertaining "man behind the mask" pieces to hard hitting Woodward & Bernstein deep expose's, he's equal to both. Its AWESOME how he hasnt forgotten our angst and turmoil from his lofty new perch. |

I heard that. Clearly, Kent has taken this mission on with abandon. Somewhere along the line, Dr. Evil pissed Babb off and he's been working on evens ever since. It's a shame he left town when he did. It would have been nice to see him write the final chapter in the Pioli saga. I can't tell you how encouraged I am by Babb's repeated insistence that Clark will fire Dr. Evil, though. He seems absolutely convinced that it's a foregone conclusion and the writing is on the wall and the fat lady has already strapped on the girdle and rehearsed her encore. I hope he isn't just whistling in the dark. FAX |

If Kent Babb had voice-dictated his columns instead of actually trying to write them, he could have been the next Whitlock.

Smith>Hali or Houston so only 1 of those guys could start for th 49ers. Johnson isn't starting either. Berry doesn't start over Whitner or Goldson IMO. Flowers could probably start. |

it's ****ed up what he said about chiefs players not being on NFL network, it's soooo true. I remember back in like 06-07 there used to be Brian Waters commercials and just NFL films videos of KC, now they show nothing. Don't think they've talked about any players either, or if they do, it's very rare and they only did recently cause of the Jamal Charles autograph bs.
|
Great podcast. This situation really is sad. SAVE OUR CHIEFS
|
The arenas pick wouldve made sense in like the 4th round. We needed a nickle qb in todays nfl and he was a good returner at bama, but hes been less than stellar.
We traded the best tight end in NFL history(whos still going strong) for a less than stellar nickle corner with 0 return tds. |
Of course, with Tony G, Cassel would probably look better than he is and we might have him longer.
Its kind of ironic that one of Piolis first moves might be the one that buries him in a roundabout way. |
