Absolutely. As the offseason waned, I think I started to think matthews would be better than I thought. I don't think that today though.

Yes.

Mathews is probably done...

I just traded Golden Tate and Donnie Avery for Roddy White and Kendall Hunter. I have Calvin Johnson, AJ Green, Antoine Brown, and Julian Edelman so I can afford to wait for him to get healthy.

Close to my WR's corp: CJ, Cobb, Brown, Roddy White, and Edelman.

He offered me Kaep for Vernon Davis today. My backup TE is Brent Celek.

I'm debating taking it and then flipping Romo for a WR.

Thoughts?

Kaep will have far more FF pts than VD on average at the end of the day because he not only touches the ball every play but Kaep is the complete pkg in running and throwing. If you do flip Romo it better be for a big time WR because Romo will be an overall good pt producer.

Do the Kaep deal NOW !!!

Excellent trade. Good job !! Hunter only gets more carries as time goes on and Roddy has shown consistent production even with Julio in the mix.:thumb:

I have worries that with a decent RB in the mix, that the passing pie will be smaller, and White's share shrinks as well.

Landscape of the league is tough. Everyone pretty much has productive QBs so I'm going to be stuck with Romo.

Celek got me a goosegg last week so I'm trying to find a suitable replacement. I put in a blind bid for Eifert.

Got this laugher yesterday:

I give up AJ Green for.. get this.. Greg Olsen and Hakeem Nicks.

sedated 09-18-2013 12:54 PM

I just denied a trade (give up Trent Richardson for Vick), and then saw Weeden is out at QB and the starter will be...Brian Hoyer.

I don't see good things for T-Rich this year. But guess it can't get much worse.

mrroandrro 09-18-2013 08:58 PM

I got offered David Wilson for Giovanni Bernard. Do I keep Giovanni and wait for his upside or do I take Wilson hoping that he comes back to fantasy relevance. I also have Arian, Bush, Ryan Mathews.

Lesean McCoy, but not much else - Gio Bernard, Mendenhall, Fred Jackson.

Im considering it, because my TEs are Kyle Rudolph and just picked up Clay from MIA.

pr_capone 09-21-2013 12:41 AM

I traded James Starks & R. Mendenhall for DeSean Jackson.

I think I got the better of that. Yes?

Yeah, that's a tough call. I'ld probably hold onto Trent though. He is definitely your second best RB. I don't believe much in Clay though. See how Gio and FredJax do today. If they play like last week, you can probably trade Trent for Gronk.

You would think but even that has changed now that Jackson is already gimpy and only gets better for White. Never happened even when Turner was running well and Julio in the mix. Ryan really trusts White and will target him no matter what. Nothing to worry about.

When is the last time Turner was running well?

But, yeah, the Jackson injury sort of evens things back out. Still feel like White's upside is limited though.

His first 2yrs with the Falcons but granted Julio wasn't with them yet. But I see White being just fine.

I am not a Mathews fan but never give up a starting PPR type back for a WR who will never get targeted as much as a starting PPR back.

Ceej 09-22-2013 07:51 PM

So, I have Brees and the Jimmy Graham Owner has mentioned he's on the block. He needs RB help desperately. I'm awful at proposing trades. I will post my team first then his.

ShowMeYourTDs
Brees, Dalton
Martin, Matthews, J. Bell, Ivory, Rainey
Cobb, Cruz, Finley, Witten, V. Brown, Thompkins
Zeurlein
Denver D

HereQueerDealWithIt
Vick, Rivers
McFadden, Miller, Helu, Clay
Graham, Wallace, Steve Smith, Myers, Denarius Moore, Robert Woods
Walsh
Sf D

We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 W/T, 1 flex, 1 K, 1 D.

I really want Graham. You guys seeing anything that would work?

He just sent an offer of Graham for Martin and Cruz - which is way too much, IMO.

sedated 09-23-2013 08:22 AM

^^ your offer should probably include Witten. Witten + Mathews probably isn't enough, but Witten + Martin is probably too much.

The Franchise 09-23-2013 10:51 AM

It's probably not going to work out unless you want to take a major hit on trade value and overpay for him.

That's kind of what I am thinking.

He's going to want Martin and Cobb or Cruz.

The Franchise 09-23-2013 11:46 AM

So there is a guy in our league that has 3 QBs at this time: Luck, RG3 and Rivers. I'm sort of interested in getting RG3 off of his team because I have a feeling that he's only going to get better as the season progresses. Here is my team:

QB: Romo, Manuel
RB: Charles, Martin, Lacy, Tate and Le'Veon Bell
WR: Cruz, Garcon, Shorts, Thompkins and Wright
TE: Cook and Julius Thomas

His team:

QB: Luck, RG3 and Rivers
RB: Jackson, Miller, Moreno
WR: Julio Jones, Nelson, Torrey Smith, D. Moore, Malcom Floyd, N. Washington
TE: Owen Daniels, Celek

What the **** would you offer him?

I'm trying to throw him Cook, Tate and Cruz for RG3 and Julio Jones.

How naiive (or not naiive) is your opponent when to comes to FF?

How much do you think RG3 will progress, fantasy football wise? You can probably pull something cool off...your offer was a pretty good one, I thought.

The Franchise 09-23-2013 12:47 PM

He's kind of dumb when it comes to FF.

I upped the offer to Cruz, Tate, Shorts and Cook for RG3, Jones and Torrey Smith.

RG3 will only get better as he knocks off the rust. Plus I'd have the RG3 to Garcon connection. It's more of a hedging my bet with my Manuel pick up. I like Cruz....but he's either feast or famine and the Giants this year are just plain bad.

I would never, ever give up Graham for that.

Graham is a complete game changer. Brown is a fringe top 25 receiver. Davis is nice, but he's not half the player Graham is.

Offered him Shorts, Tate and Wright for RG3 and Nate Washington. I'm not trying to rape this kid because I don't want the league freaking the **** out. I'll use the extra roster spot to pick up a RB.

I like the RG3 - Shorts trade a lot better then this one.

Tate is too good to just throw into this trade, given the depth of WRs out there, iMO.

There was no way (especially as co-commish) that I could push through a Shorts-RG3 trade. He accepted my Shorts/Tate/Wright for RG3/Washington trade. I'll go pick up a RB like Thomas or Stewart with my open roster spot. No biggie.

Dynasty league offer - offered Ray Rice for DeSean Jackson and a #1 next year.

My RBs (we start two) Charles, David Wilson, Forsett, LeShoure, Daryl Richardson, Jacquizz Rodgers.

My WRs (we start 3) - Antonio Brown, Demariyus Thomas, Josh Boyce, Vincent Brown, Givens, DJax, Tate.

I think I might pull the trigger if Rice isn't too banged up. I still have pretty good WR depth after potentially trading DJax.

If I knew that Reggie Bush would stay the **** down, I'd be set. But I have a ton of depth that I might as well start selling off. (6 of the top 28 RB scorers, 3 of the top 13 WR scorers - with Gordon's potential added in)

Because I'm sick of trying to guess right between 5 RB's for the RB2 spot behind Martin.

I'd rather just have a guy that I can put there every week.

And I'm getting impatient with Gonzalez. I'm hoping that once Roddy is back to 100% that it helps him out, but he's killing me.

IMO, it will only be a cluster**** for another week or two.

By October, Richardson will be the bellcow.

Well, I was banking on David Wilson not sucking so much dick.

Charles, Wilson, Forsett, LeShoure, Daryl Richardson, Jacquizz Rodgers.
