Just got home and read this.................Glad you're ok Stevieray. You can always replace the exoskeleton, but not the valuable commodity inside (you). :thumb:

Well Steve, time to go shopping for another classic. How about a '68 Sport Fury or something like that? (No you can't have my wagon, I got plans for that thing!) :thumb:

So sorry to hear about the van, Stevie. Very relieved to hear that you're okay, tho. If you need to catch a ride anywhere, I probably still owe you a few. :)

Glad you're safe.

I fact, FDE, if your interested I’ve got a friend that’s selling his Suburban due to divorce. It’s an older one but its 4X4 and in good shape.
Let me know if interested and I’ll find out the specifics.

Yeah, find out specifically about the gas mileage. Those older ones got 8 miles per gallon IIRC.

Inspector 10-06-2004 07:37 PM

Glad he's OK! Sounds like a close one.

Check out the Yellow pages under attorneys - maybe get enough for another classic van - although it will be hard to repalce the classic he had.

Good luck.

POPpystar 10-06-2004 08:06 PM

Glad to hear you will be ok.

Take care we all need our FDE!!!!!

Misplaced_Chiefs_Fan 10-06-2004 08:36 PM

FDE: I know "The King" made a movie called "Spin Out..." but this is ridiculous!
Hope your soreness goes away soon. I'd like to see the "Scoobyvan", do you have a pic? I had a cool car in college back in the '70s, it was a 1971 Chevelle. I got hit by a drunk driver and it was totalled. I loved that car and was really depressed for a long time after losing it, so I feel your pain. Hang in there, dude.

Phobia 10-07-2004 11:22 AM

Oh. Well, Popystar isn't your friend. She's a groupie. Now that you're rich and famous, you need to know the difference.

I'm thinking he'd look good in a '71 Caddy.
If the shoe fits.....

Jenny Gump 10-07-2004 04:36 PM

Glad he's okay.

Wonder what the odds are of crashing into Elvis? That idiot in the Tahoe should play the lotto.

Chief Henry 10-07-2004 05:22 PM

Elvis,

Get well soon....

Rausch 10-07-2004 05:28 PM

Good to see you up and posting again. :thumb:

CosmicPal 10-07-2004 05:31 PM

Wow....that sucks about your van, FDE. But, thank goodness you survived the rollover- somebody's looking out for you.

Chiefs fans don't die, they just roll over and play dead. :D

RedNFeisty 10-07-2004 05:33 PM

Damn the bad luck, glad that FDE is doing good considering.

Paint it red and get the Chief's Cheerleaders to hang all over it. If he can pull that off then.... :wayne:

2bikemike 10-07-2004 08:11 PM

Wow, Glad to hear you weren't seriously injured Stevie. Too bad about the shaggin wagon though.

stevieray 10-08-2004 03:39 PM

update: just got off the phone with the insurance company, my witness corrobarated my story, and they are going to send someone to appraise my van.

Humbling experience. It is a miracle I wasn't hurt, I'm not playing that up at all.

Thanks again for all the kind words.

memyselfI 10-08-2004 03:42 PM

I can't read the thread but the responses seem to indicate that SR was in an accident and is apparently ok. I'm glad that it wasn't serious. Bummer about the wheels.
