Looks like they're punking the Gayhawks 44-13 with about 2:00 left.

Is that the result you were looking for? :loser:

Let's see, KU hasn't played Mizzou yet so I guess we have to use the last time the two played. SCOREBOARD BITCH!!!

The last two times KU played MU has nothing to do with the standings, as they stand today or for the rest of the season.

KU has the basement locked up all to it’s self.

Here's a project for you. When was the last time that Mizzou won the conference? Or even the North division? You weren't born yet probably.

Yeah, probably. I do remember one time (in the 60's I think) that Mizzou actually won a big game against Notre Dame. I think MU was ranked like #2 in the nation. I really shouldn't tell you things like that.

How about the time MU went to bama and knocked them off, if you want to start down memory lane I can easily go as far back as you.

But that has nothing to do with KU and its cellar dwelling position.

Pitt Gorilla 10-22-2005 09:02 PM

Did I read that correctly? Mizzou held Nebraska to NEGATIVE yards rushing?!? How the mighty rushing team has fallen...

Last I saw... ESPN had changed Neb's total rushing yardage to 11.

Before they had it listed at -3... and Mike Kelly was saying -2.

Spott 10-22-2005 09:07 PM

Actually, the last time that Missouri won the big 8 was back in the 69 season when they lost to Penn State in the Orange Bowl.

Not trying to add smack to y'alls conversation, I only know that because I'm a trivia buff.

I am going do my time...get some training...get fit...get some skills. When I get out I have the money to get even more experience in the field I want to dedicate my life to. You know its called living your life.

Damn, I thought Iowa fans were crazy. Check this out:

"I have to question the homerism of the refs today. On a number of occasions, there were some "interesting" penalties or no calls. On many a Brad Smith run there was a Missouri lineman or receiver with two fistful’s or Husker jersey. Holding was called just once on Mizzou throughout the game. How about the "intentional grounding" called on Taylor, despite the ball actually hitting RB Cory Ross? Or how about the no-call intentional grounding when Mizzou QB just got rid of the ball near no one? The "roughing the passer" on Tiedtke was another interesting call. They claimed it was helmet to helmet, however, on replays you could see Tiedtke's forearms contact Smith's chest and not a helmet to helmet shot. The hit was no later than any of a number of hits on Zac Taylor after a throw. These are just a few of the inaccuracies and unbalanced calls that went in Missouri's favor today."

Ahh, it's always the refs when you lose. Great stuff. A few calls here and there and Big Red rolls...

I've owned my own businesses for the last forty years. Convenience stores, Oil Wells, Car washes and video game routes. Right now it is a satellite installation company with 9 employees. You will never achieve any of the above. I wish you well but you obviously don't realize what the Air Force does to overweight dumbasses. I do. I spent 5 years with them. 1965-1970. In time, you will realize what a fat dumbass you are. The Air Force will show you whether you like it or not. But you might as well join because nobody else is going to hire a stupid fat kid. Especially one that is unable to identify someone like me that is vastly superior to you in intellect and physique. I'm not fat now and have never been fat. You are a loser. I hope the Air Force can correct that but I doubt it.

I am chastising Skip for anything. I am not his father. I am making fun of Skip because his only joy is trying to spite people on this message board. I am also making fun of him for going so far out of his way to prove himself to someone who he tries to paint as so unworthy. I have met a lot of successful people in my life. None of them tried so hard to convince people of it. You could tell.

No chastising...just making fun of his rants laced with insecurity.

As an alum of MU, I WANT to believe but still can't.

Brad and the Boys are going to have a hard time scoring points in Lawrence next weekend.

The trip to Boulder is going to be a big test as well.

We'll see if Pinkel can keep his head out of his a$$ for 2 more weeks. I have my doubts.

Yeah, MU really hasn't beaten anyone yet. We played Texas and lost. We handled NU's supposedly great defense, but KU is another matter all together.

I agree... it's a little embarrassing. I don't mind it so much when it's a really huge game... but it's not necessary every time we beat a decent opponent at home.

Least time we beat the Huskers... fine. This time... I could've done without.

Ok fellas,
I don't post as often as I should, but this has been one of the best football weekends I can remember. I'm in my 25th year as a Chiefs/Mizzou fan and this is as good as it gets. Just thought I'd thump my chest a little tonight. Sorry for bringing the thread up (ad nauseum) again. Carry on.

KcMizzou,

You live in my old stomping grounds. Graduated Park Hill High in 83'. I stop into Minsky's Pizza on I-29 and Barry Rd when I'm passing through.

Love Minsky's too. Once you've had it, it's tough to go back to Pizza Hut.
