Grudz is a free swinger and is better suited to hit second.
Other than maybe German, I'm not sure they really have anyone else that could do better.

Costa was hitting .300 going into todays game, so it's not like he's been terrible.

mcan 04-11-2006 12:56 PM

People ought to give the steroid thing a rest... A couple of guys get demonized, but look at all the beefcake guys around the league. Just because they aren't as talented at baseball doesn't mean they aren't using too. You'ld be surprised the number of players that use.

vckcchiefs04 04-11-2006 12:57 PM

Good walk. BUNT HIM OVER DAMN YOU!! Just kidding!

petegz28 04-11-2006 12:59 PM

I'll take him over Costa and Robinson anyday! He can hit here, he has proven that. Bell just took the youth.

vckcchiefs04 04-11-2006 01:10 PM

Elmer solid again!!! 3 up 3 down. Bring on the back end of the Bullpen!!! Let's get some insurance!

petegz28 04-11-2006 01:10 PM

With Elmer in for the 6th I would say Sisco will coming in shortly

tk13 04-11-2006 01:11 PM

8 pitch inning. Elmer should probably at least one more.

banyon 04-11-2006 01:11 PM

whoa, I just tuned back in.

big change.

Looks like Mays should lose his spot for the time being to Wood, until Greinke or Hernandez get their acts together.

LET'S GO ROYALS!!!

Elmer freakin' Dessens! He has been amazing so far. Just mowed down Jeter, Sheffield, and A-Rod. Get your Dessens' jerseys now.

Works out well though, because now all their lefties are due up, we can bring in Sisco for the 8th if Bell wants.

petegz28 04-11-2006 01:52 PM

Mr. Laz 04-11-2006 01:52 PM

sisco didn't have trouble finding the plate until he was bent over by the home plate umpire.

SPchief 04-11-2006 01:53 PM

we never leave the pitchers in long enough unless they are giving up homeruns.

every coach we've had for the last 10 years has played this stupid "baseball 101" handle the pitchers crap.

you don't pull a pitcher in kansas city until he reaches a pitch count or until he starts losing it .......... period.

never of this 1 inning perfect reliever crap... we don't have enough good pitching to do that.

SPchief 04-11-2006 01:55 PM

now the plate is wide

petegz28 04-11-2006 01:56 PM

Oh my God this umpire!!!

petegz28 04-11-2006 01:56 PM

fuck YOU UMP!

SPchief 04-11-2006 01:56 PM

Mr. Laz 04-11-2006 01:57 PM

SPchief 04-11-2006 01:57 PM

Learn your f_cking lesson Bell! Let's not wait until we are 15 games under .500 to demote Sisco! Yes the Umps blow, but you still have to make some pitches. Watch how it is done when Rivera gets in there. Elmer to set up man starting tomorrow!!! :cuss:

Molitoth 04-11-2006 02:07 PM
