Ugh. No. It's the fact that the rotation isn't there in the zone, and when they go man to man, Self has them double teaming anyone that drives the ball and it leaves the outside shot wide open.

KU has some very good defenders at guard: Robinson, Collins, Chalmers, and Rush. It's just that their big guys don't know how to step out properly half the time. Plus, Tech is very good at screening.

I don't so much think I believe in that anymore in basketball. since both teams touch the ball so often, you don't get "breaks." These so called "breaks" are the fruits of effort, and Tech is putting forth greater effort, therefore it appears things happen to be going their way. On the otherhand KU has played like they knew they were gonna lose from the start. Making terrible passes, poor decisions on defensive switches and shots, stupid fouls, not boxing out. They just don't have their heads in the game.

I was just commenting with my dad that KU hasn't had a go-to shooter in a very, very long time. There's lots of talent on the squad, but there's not enough offense. Collins might turn out to be that guy, but he's so good at dribble penetration, he won't be that guy.
