Lakers play sloppy and out of sync pretty much the entire game AND STILL WIN BY 18.

4-0 my nizzles

BWillie 11-06-2008 01:10 AM

I'm not sure if the Lakers can lose. I'm really not. I haven't seen a team this good since the Bulls. Honestly. I would not say 72-10 is reachable because they are in the West, but I could see 68-14.

First time Lakas trailed in 4th quarter, Kobe says "**** YOU" and pulls Mavericks hearts out with rusty spoon.

First REAL real test tomorrow with 2nd of back to back road games with a good N.O. team. Should be a great game

Buck 11-12-2008 07:12 PM

Damnit man, how could the Hornets game not be on TV?

I was considering picking up the League Pass for $189, but so many of the Lakers games are on TV for free, I can't justify spending the money.

Just let Boston and LA play for the title again right now. Cuz that is what is going to happen. Although this time Garnett, Pierce and Allen are a year older while the Lakers are a year wiser and more experienced.

30-6 best record in the NBA. They are struggling defensively, but we also have 3 players down right now, so we arent deep atm. Bynum is getting back to form finally. He's been a beast lately on the offensive side.

I hope the 2 of the 3 hurt can get back fairly soon. I still had Radmonovich dude has no ****ing defense.

Buck 01-12-2009 05:05 PM

Radmonovich sucks.

I wish they had someone a little better than him starting.

I also wish that Sasha Vujacic wasn't so quick to shoot all the time.

His problem is he always wants to shoot the damned 3. If he would take it in a few steps then shoot it, he will score alot more. He did that in lastnights game though. Which was shocking. Take the extra dribble and make a higher percentage shot.

I wish they would start Lamar over Radmonovich. I understand they have him in there for the 3point shot, but let the 2nd unit take care of that. Fisher is money from the 3 when he shooots. Kobe's percentage has been going way up lately, cept for lastnight. lol

L.A. Chieffan 01-12-2009 05:59 PM

we need Odom to start. not just because hes better than vladrad but because i have him on my fantasy team

DJ's left nut 01-19-2009 10:41 PM

I'm both a Lakers and Kobe fan.

But the torch has been passed. LeBron is quicker, stronger and more versatile. His jumper isn't quite there, but he makes up for it with his ability to get underneath at will. Even when he misses, he gets the ball down low for easy putbacks.

LeBron James is the best player in the NBA.

ill give you that lebron has the size advantage and therefore can go inside better than kobe however he doesnt have the shot nor the defensive tenacity of kobe.

kobe still best all around player in the world

Defensive tenacity or no, James is every bit the defender due to his length and strength advantage.

Age sucks, but there's no getting around it. James has nearly a decade on Bryant. The mileage on Bryant's legs, coupled with the lower body injuries Kobe's suffered has cost him just a little bit of explosiveness. Consequently James appears to have him in quicks and hops as well.

It was going to happen sooner or later, I figured it would take another couple of seasons but it's not looking that way to me anymore. James is just such a freak athleticly. Bryant's more skilled (better J and better handles), but James is the better player.

DJ's left nut 01-19-2009 11:51 PM

Screw it, I take back any compliments I had for that flopping little bitch.

I'm just a little tired of watching a 260 lb behemoth of a human being whine like a little girl every time he gets bumped. That 'head butt' with Ariza was pathetic, Ariza's the one that took it above the eye and he goes running downcourt. Meanwhile James, who initiated the contact and got it in the forehead, acts like someone shot him in the eye with a Red Rider bee bee gun.

This after acting like Bynum punched him in the jaw after he brought Bynums arms up into his chin on what amounted to a solid hack (very good foul by Bynum).

This Sabonis act that James is pulling tonight is getting damn old. Someone tell him he's from Ohio, not Eastern Europe...

Ariza with t3h pwnage

L.A. Chieffan 01-20-2009 12:08 AM

Kobe with another triple double and big Bynum dropping 42 points tonight. Career high.

Watch that play again; I frame by framed it.

Nobody came within a foot of hitting Ray Allen on that shot. Fisher dragged him coming off the screen, but Allen got away with the hand-check. That wasn't a mugging, wasn't even a foul nine times out of ten.

Allen is a flopping puss, he got a clean look and nobody touched him. He just yacked it (probably on purpose) hoping to draw the foul.

I never said he was fouled on the shot. Up to the point where he made it to the screen he was mauled almost to the point of anal penetration. And yeah, thats a foul, even in the NBA.

Cept it wasnt a foul, take a look again, Allen tried to sell it and shoot it off balance becuase he wasnt in a position to take a good shot.

Season Sweep if they meet in the finals, Lakers got home court this year.

Ref's are not going to call that ticky tack foul to decide a game like that. Even though Lamar Odom got them called in the first half on him. Works both ways.

Might've been a flop. Might've been a push. I've yet to see an angle (backside of Allen) that shows it. All the angles are frontside, and you can't tell where Fisher's right hand really is.

Shouldn't much matter -- see you in the Finals...

I definetely like the Euro additions. Defense, passing and team offense are what they bring. In short: they play our game the way we invented it and used to play it.

IMHO the post-MJ tattoo-thugs that turned it into a one-on-five playground game almost killed the NBA. The league has done a good job of turning that around, now we will see if the fans come back. A superstar that appeals to everyone would help.

Buck 02-09-2009 11:52 AM

Randolf is dumb, if he would have just shot the ball instead of trying an impossible dunk, Kobe would have been called for Goaltending on that.

Oh well...the Lakers are doing good w/out Bynum...Hopefully he comes back at full-strength for the playoffs.
