Unfortunately the Fox 4Warn $19.99 weather radio doesn't have that option. I do get alerted, but for the lower price the only features it comes with are plugged in or not plugged in.

Now that I know that option exists, I will look into getting a new one with that capability. Thanks.

...the national weather service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for... pahrump.. nevada. this storm contains dangerous rain and winds in excess of 30 miles per hour. it will arrive in kansas city at 11:07 pm... next tuesday. the safest place during a thunderstorm is in your bed sleeping. if you are sleeping now unplug the stupid radio.
