In the Financial District in SF there is a very succesful lunch - soup place.
http://www.sfsoupco.com/ They have sslightly different customer base. It is directed at business people for lunch looking for a quick meal. The diet in SF is different too. Check it out for ideas. |
I missed this thread somehow. I'm happy to give you some exposure in our newspaper if you'd like - if I figure out a way to write a story so it won't piss of my advertising local restaurants.
I've been working in Liberty so it's not a huge stretch. Drove through downtown Independence last week and thought about calling you but I was on a tight schedule. You have anything low-carb? I'm trying to drop a couple lbs so I'll have to skip the pie. |

I was watching an episode of the Andy Griffith show just yesterday Aunt Bee opened up a Bee's Chinese restaurant and long story short, she wanted to change the menu up, was all beside herself on how to improve the place, she was in a frazzle. So you might want to give it more time halfcan. |

If you make some of your own chicken stock for the soup, then chicken salad sandwiches are easy with the poached chicken. Don't forget grilled cheese, use a couple of good cheeses + mayo + sweet onions and grill in butter.
