That's one of the greatest returns I've ever seen. He should have been dropped at his own 10.

WOW

And when he reached the endzone, no stupid dance, no pointing, no showboating; he just dropped the ball and headed toward his sideline. That's class. :thumb:

I wish more of these kids acted like that.

Pitt Gorilla 09-17-2008 08:33 PM

Is K-State as bad as they look?

Do your stupid little dance, Prince, you fat bastard.

I freaking hate Holtz. Sometimes he talks, and...just...shit I don't even know how to explain it.

Frazod 09-17-2008 08:48 PM

Well, this one's getting ugly.

Pitt Gorilla 09-17-2008 08:49 PM

Wow, this is just bad football. Scary Smart isn't getting it done.

Shoulda stuck with the cream puffs.

Lzen 09-17-2008 08:54 PM

Damn, when this game started, I was thinking that Freeman was looking really good this year. Not so sure about that now. And it appears that their defense hasn't improved much with all those JUCOs.

Pitt Gorilla 09-17-2008 08:55 PM

Quick slant fools the Birds. TD KSU.

tk13 09-17-2008 08:56 PM

Kinda surprised at this one. Louisville looked terrible when they got pounded by Kentucky a couple weeks ago. Still time to make a game of it, I guess.

Chiefs need to run that quick pitch to the weak side with LJ. We used to do it all the time with Priest.

Coach 09-17-2008 09:09 PM

K-State's problem is that they rely on the short shit way too much. A quick hit to the WR for a screen on 3rd and 10? That would have worked perfectly on a first down to make it a manageable 2nd and 3 or 4, instead of 2nd and 10.

Of course, Freeman making those dumb mistakes, receivers dropping the ball, and some breaks that just couldn't go to K-State's way is pretty much mailing this in. But I never liked running the Pro-Style offense in the college level, especially when you're not maximizing your QB's skills.

And of course, no running game.

Maybe with Charles. LJ is too slow.

Frazod 09-17-2008 09:14 PM

Touchdown Mildcats. Too little too late, but they aren't laying down.

tk13 09-17-2008 09:15 PM

What was the point of that?

LJ is faster than Priest. But we had a betterO-line for Priest.

K-State's problem is that they are slow as shit.

Yup, and they can't stop the run. Same as last year.

Good game Louisville.

12:00 #15 East Carolina at NC State <- I'm watching that one. I have to admit, this game is moderately exciting.

Last year's Auburn/LSU was one of the best games of the season... probably not so much this year with the lack of quarterback experience.

Looking forward to Tennessee/Florida... usually a good game, and Tennessee will probably be a little angry after last year's turd.

Simply Red 09-20-2008 10:55 AM

ECU is my sleeper pick to make a lot of noise this yr.

Tell ya what, Auburn may win that one.

They're ranked 15th now... I think the sleeper tag is probably gone.

USC's win last week might not be that impressive at all if this keeps up... OSU has a lot of work to do.

Alabama/Arkansas, not so good.

tk13 09-20-2008 12:38 PM

Prior just threw a wobbly duck for a TD. Probably won't be able to get away with too many of those against Big Ten defenses.

ECU just goes for it on 4th and goal from the one and fails. NC State with a chance to come down and take the lead now.

looking forward to uf/ut...

ecu is still up 4

osu is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over rated..

Bearcat 09-20-2008 12:49 PM

After Alabama, Arkansas has Texas, Florida, Auburn, and Kentucky... might not win again until November.

Illinois hung around with Mizzou and struggled against Louisiana-Lafayette, and they're #23. OSU struggles with Ohio and Troy and looked like a I-AA team against USC. Yeah, they shouldn't be in the top 25.

Central Michigan just scored, and went for 2 to take the lead at Purdue, about a minute to go.

tk13 09-20-2008 01:18 PM

And Purdue comes right back and scores with exactly 1 minute to go.

Ultra Peanut 09-20-2008 01:19 PM

God damnit.

pr_capone 09-20-2008 01:22 PM

No Cinderella story for ECU

Bearcat 09-20-2008 01:23 PM

NC State wins in OT.

Winning all the games you're supposed to win is easier said than done. :KU:

tk13 09-20-2008 01:26 PM

Crap, Purdue wins. At least the MAC is being pretty competitive... Bowling Green beat Pitt. Ohio played OSU tough, played Northwestern tough today. Central Michigan could've won at Purdue. Buffalo's playing Mizzou tough. Akron played Wisconsin tough and whipped Syracuse. Ball State thumped Navy and has a chance against Indiana tonight.

17-0 Florida 10 minutes in..... at this rate it won't be as 'close' as it was last year. LMAO

Lzen 09-20-2008 02:16 PM

Tennessee is putting together a nice drive here, but man they have sucked before this. I can't believe they bit on that little fake Tebow run and jump pass. They act as if they have never seen that before from Florida. Reminds me how the Chiefs (specifically Eric Hicks) used to always get faked on Denver's bootleg plays.

JuicesFlowing 09-20-2008 03:19 PM

I swear to God I'm never picking Va Tech to win again this year. Each time I pick them they blow ass.

Misplaced_Chiefs_Fan 09-20-2008 03:32 PM

They've ****ed me 3 times already....lost to ECU when I picked them, beat GT when I picked GT, but thankfully they are losing today when I took NC, Butch Davis is turning the program around.

Mecca 09-20-2008 03:49 PM

Also watching this Tennessee Florida game is like masturbating with a cheese grater.

I cannot think of a kitchen utensil that would be worse to masturbate with than a cheese grater.
