Oh, and those Hey Vern commercials were big about the time I was in high school. Vern kind of became a funny nickname for a very short amount of time.

You really told people what your middle name was? I would've been quiet about that one.

First: Named in honor of my maternal grandmother's late second husband's surname.
Middle: Taken from my paternal great-grandfather's middle name.

My father and his father (to an extent), my first cousin-once removed and his father and grandfather, and I, all go by our middle names.

Some chick came over to our table the other night at the bar and introduced herself. She said her name was Beverly, and I was making fun of her calling her a lying and deceitful old shrew. Turns out she showed her ID to us and she was a 23 year old Beverly. I was in quandary and needless to say didn't get to bang her.

With my brother and I both, they thought we were going to be girls. They had picked out the first name Valerie if we were. That is until my aunt pointed out that with our last name, our initials would be VD.

My dad also liked the name Thaddeus. Until the same aunt said, "You might as well call the kid, 'Thud.'"

So that one went out with the bathwater.

I got my name because "boy" sounded worse. My parents really drew a blank and just settled on it.

My son got his name because I thought Scott Zilla would be a damn cool name for a kid. My daughters name was a name I fell in love with the first time I heard it, Jennica. I stayed with a family in high school whose oldest girl had that name and I just loved the sound of it. When my wife came home and said she was pregnant, I asked if we could name her Jennica, she said I don't know if it is a girl. I just stared her straight in the face and asked again if we could name her Jennica, she got to pick her middle name, hehe.

My dad chose my first name, (it means Pure... very appropriate) and as for my middle... My mother still didn't have the best grasp of the English language at the time, and since I was born around Christmas... I ended up with a great Porn Star name.

I think Hef had a Miss December named Karen Christie.

woot. woot.

Way better than the "Michael Ryan" I was supposed to be.

I've had many names in my life. All of them very real.

If I had to pick which one was my favorite, it would be You. Had that one for 4 months.

Because of the famous movie icon, John Wade.

I don't know where my parents came up with.

"That's Not My Ass Jones"

So I picked out Angelo as soon as I turned 18.

Snatch rep.
