as much as I'd like to see Mizzou lose to Memphis... there is part of me that REALLY wants KU / MU to match up in the national semifinal.
That would bring HISTORIC buzz to our rivalry, that most media outlets seem to ALWAYS overlook when talking about top sports rivalries. KU/MU in final four would be epic. |

Hey perhaps people you hurl personal insults at are reaping what they deserve. I don't know the history you have with everyone on here; as you stated yourself I don't post often on here. I was making an observation based on a comment you made in this thread that, to me, was unprovoked and unwarranted. Which when you responded to me about my observation you included personal attacks. If you deem me worthy of your personal insults just because I don't like MU and refer to them as mizzurah, mizery, and etc. and don't praise them; you won't see me praising the Raiduhs either; that I don't get. |

I think MU will get worn out by their own style. It was evident in the Marquette game. However, they have had all week to rest.
I bet it's close until about the 10 minute mark of the 2nd half. Memphis has some serious athletes that can hang with MU's style; such as it is. |
Team of destiny... right. as always MU crying in the beer. :)
Good year none the less. Memph game to lose. |

Last year in the title game, KU clamped down on defense and really took them out of their game (from what I could tell by watching them in the rest of the tourney). They were talented enough to house us a few times and put points on the board, but it didn't seem like they handled the defense all that well. From what I could tell last year is they tried to get people out of position and make quick passes for easy shots. They completely ****ing EMBARRASSED Texas with that. If they try that same approach, I could see that as an opportunity for MU to get some good steals. MU does play pretty heady with reading passes. Their response to KUs defense was to isolate and play 1-on-1 ball, but MUs pressure is totally diferent. I would be interested to see how they have handled similar defenses.
