God Cutler walks around like that stoner kid in high school.....that was never really there......if you know what I'm saying.

I gotta admit, I always look stoned when I'm in slow motion.

That was actually a great catch on that helmet!
You guys are still looking for a wide receiver, aren't you? |

Did I miss the GIF's from the Raiders game?

Hey GoChiefs, I really do appreciate the GIF'd up files. A special request from the Raiders game would be the play where DBowe came back and laid out a Raider on a block downfield. I liked that one as much as I liked Bradley destroying that Lamb during the preseason on Savage's long run.

Hey GoChiefs, just wanted to let you know, out of all the many cool things you have put together on Chiefsplanet this is one of my favorites. Nowhere else do you actually get to see breakdowns of plays quite like this. Can't wait to see more. Thanks for your hard work and keep it up!
|
I wouldnt mind seeing Cassel's first down signal after his run either... Not that he dosnt suck and all.... :)
|
**** the every week thing, I absolutely LOVE the idea of a 1st round pick being followed and held accountable for every play by the fans.
Yeah, piss on the WR we'll sign next week when Haley starts to rag again. Follow our two rook D lineman, Albert, and Dorsey... |
this thread = awesome
the goff gifs had me in stitches |

The Belly-check way and the Parcells way are both all about the lines. D and O. Yet, we do squat for our O line. Rausch, sitting here stupified... |

Especially Albert. Waters has some splainin' to do, though. But look at this beauty: http://i36.tinypic.com/2khpp5.jpg |

I'm guessing that Charles is injured or Haley is both ****ing insane and learning disabled. But bad, still very ****ing bad... |

After watching the 1st quarter last night, I'd sure as hell like to know where this "sure fire" interception that Flowers missed is?
Because surely a football fan who knows their shit and is not a complete dumbass couldn't possibly be calling JaFatty's high velocity short pass that Flowers was in no way, shape, or form in a position to do anything other than get one hand out and knock it away, a "missed opportunity", yes? |
Quote:
Just relax, I'm not gonna go Pollard on Flowers. |

I also love "you can't take a sack, there" - as if any quarterback ever actually chooses to be sacked. |
These gifs concern me more regarding coaching/preparation. It looks like the linemen aren't sure (at various times):
1) whom to block 2) to where their neighboring lineman should be blocking the opposing player 3) that another player is passing a defender to them. Even if the skill of these players never gets better, a better (or even rudimentary) understanding of the protections/schemes will result in a massive improvement. PS: Oh, and GoChiefs, stop SCREAMING at me. Damn, I get it, you're passionate, but enough with screaming every sentence! |

The players themselves have talked about how extensively the playbook was changed. I think it sounded more like a total re haul than not. Haley also commented on it a few times and the most noticeable change he commented on was blocking schemes. The Oline got new blocking schemes just in time for the 4th preseason game. I would figure that after that game, anything that didn't seem to work well may have been slightly changed at that point too, although, nothing dramatic. The Oline looked lost, that's for sure, but they were running a new playbook with new blocking schemes. |

Hey could you put up a gif of that devastating block where Bowe knocked the faider defender on his ass. It was on one of Cassels scrambles and it fired up the crowd.

He did have every chance to intercept that ball, actually had two hands on it too. It was a pretty hard thrown ball, but shouldn't have been too much to handle at the pro level.

Best part of Bowe's gif is how he bounces up to celebrate.
Showman. |
After Bowe popped that dude, he got up and gave him a couple of pats on the helmet and a "God DAMN, Bro"!

OK, we're going to point out some positives this week. Especially on defense.
First, I am in shock. I honestly can't recall two Chiefs linebackers engaging offensive linemen and getting off the blocks on the same play...EVER. These guys have been coached up. Gunther is nowhere near this improvement. If these two linebackers don't sluff off the blocks, the gain goes into the secondary. GREAT job. http://i35.tinypic.com/15qay41.gif Now, I want you to watch Tank blow this play the **** up. Tank beats his block, could have made the tackle, but what he does allows Vrabel to clean up. Tank had a great game. http://i38.tinypic.com/212vi87.gif But don't worry, we have plenty of FAIL coming. Corey Mays kicks it off with a missed tackle. http://i37.tinypic.com/mw9pfp.gif |
OK. Let it never be said GIF'D UP is biased. We point out EVERY fraud.
http://i35.tinypic.com/302nnm1.gif Between getting run over, missing a key sack, and ****ing up that punt, Beisel had a shitty game. http://i33.tinypic.com/vg0c2r.gif This is what we call "creating a new line of scrimmage." Another notch in Tyler's belt. http://i35.tinypic.com/ztu2vm.gif |
Here's to YOU, Mikey!

Wow, I knew Tyler had a good game, especially against the run. I was wondering how well did he fair in the pass rush? Was he able to collapse the pocket much that you saw?
|
Quote:
Our pass rush pretty much sucked against Oakland apart from a couple plays. |
Oh, Tamba. Tamba, Tamba, Tamba.
http://i37.tinypic.com/2h4jhxy.gif But fear not! Tank B Rollin! And he brought his strongside buddies! And Dorsey scrapes down to make the tackle. http://i34.tinypic.com/f0nhn4.gif Finally, we'd be remiss if we didn't point out Tank's awesome penetration...only to get his ass whipped by a fullback AGAIN. http://i33.tinypic.com/30agx91.gif TOMORROW: DOOMSDAY for the offensive line. |
Goff will be exposed.
|
Okay first, Tank and Tyson have not a ****ing thing to do with the "Patriot Mother****ing Way".
And two, godDAMN Tank; can you crumple like a ****ing rag-doll?! Better get back to the pea patch and get some ****ing vitamins! |

Come on. Not another cheap shot Claythan! This one is almost as bad as Goff or Richardson? can't remember which getting owned on a trip by his own player.
Tank is clearly stumbled and was on his way to the ground BEFORE the FB even lays a hit. I don't know what he tripped on, it's not clear, but my guess is feet. Whether the feet he trips on belong to him or someone else, you be the judge. |

Tank's left foot seems to catch the foot of the back stepping Raider. #74 maybe?

Can you gif up the DL formation on 3rd and longs? It looks like they are pulling Dorsey and going with 2 down linemen with Hali and Vrabel standing on the line. It gets no pressure whatsoever.
