All I know is my reaction when I saw the play... I was thinking, "Dammit, take him down." And, then when it happened, I thought ... "Crap, there's a penalty".

I think McNotmaketheplayoffs did enough going down for the entire NFL all by himself. |

The best thing about yesterdays game was that it showed the Broncos players have zero heart what so ever. The win was great, but knowing that even with the offense they have and the experience they have in the secondary theyre gonna continue to stay about the same place (just miss out on the playoffs) is the best feeling ever.

I mean you are literally reversing the way everyone is going. It is bad enough you don't think this is a penalty...but blaming it on speed has no basis in believability. |
Jamaals feet were on the ground when the whistle was blown. And even so, a high school ref crew would call that as a penalty.
The exact definition of unnecessary roughness. |

2-8 and losing to the Raiders and Chiefs. It doesn't get much more hideous than that. the Denver area has run out of rape kits.

I guess it's obvious the Bronco fans are just as much scum as the players themselves.
|
Thankfully, Jamaal Charles appears to be ok. What a great game he had, especially erasing LJ's record. True, the Donks laid down, but the 259 yds still count. Jamaal can't help it if these Donks are "stump-broke" now can he?
That Ayers stuff will sort itself out next year. The players know what really happened, and they will take care of things in their own way. No use arguing with Delusional Donk Divas, who are just beginning their long offseason of self-doubt, backbiting, and eating their young. Everything is cyclical, the Donks are on the way down, and we are, hopefully, on the way up. The Donks will be good again when they get another Elway (read: not in our lifetimes). |

Wait, let me get this straight, the mighty Donks WERE 6-0 and then didn't make the playoffs, when the hell did this happen!! :D I know the obnoxious donkey fans behind my son and I at Arrowhead won't be reading this, but I told you that your team would be watchng the playoffs as well and you just called me a sore loser and told me you were taking the keys to Arrowhead home with you. You want to trade, the CHIEFS go no use for the keys to Invesco!!

After all the class Chiefs fans showed admitting to kNOwplayoffs that they were wrong and he was right... that the Broncos are a better team than we thought and the Cutler trade was good for the Donks... that McDaniels is a great coach... and that the Bengals are a very good team.
We did all that. And what does this asshole do? Doesn't even give the Chiefs any dap for a very nice win. If the Broncos were out of the playoffs before week 17 (it appears they were) then it should be even easier for this guy to say a simple "Congrats" and then bow out. Instead, it appears Mile High is still one of the only classy Bronco fans out there. |
I did say congratulations.
http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...&postcount=546 I just don't want Chiefs fans to think they knocked us out of the playoffs when they really didn't. The Chiefs beat Denver soundly, but at the end of the day the loss helped Denver more than anything. |

Yea that really helped set the mood for a great offseason for you guys. |

Throughout the ENTIRE game, they had random updates and comments made about "The Broncos will advance WITH A WIN and either a loss by the Ravens or a loss by the Jets." So, just face it... the game ended about the time the Oak/Bal game ended, Denver needed to win for the NY/CIN game to even matter in that regard. Had Denver won the game... they would have needed the Jets to lose. However, Denver did not win the game, therefore it didn't matter what happened with that scenario. I don't know where you're going with the "it helped Denver more than anything" comment. But seriously, quit acting like a Denver win would not have mattered. In the end, the Jets won and a Denver win would have been nullified, but the fact remains... Denver had to win for that part to happen. |

Ok I started this thread discussing a different Donk fan on the radio having a meltdown...
Now this turned into the "official Donkey fan meltdown thread". |

Just out of curiosity, how many QBs taken in the first round who have great mobility but need to "work on their accuracy" have actually had productive careers? It seems like its a lot percentage, and a LOT of them end up sucking ass.
Perhaps if you need improvement in your passing game, its a little too late to do so by the time you enter the NFL. |

The way you keeping trying to justify this last loss is a tragic as the epic level melt down of the Broncos in the last half of the year. Like I said before, when you started out the season...your team was going to be exposed. And they were. 2-8 in their last 10 games? HORRIBLE! And in the process you lose your Pro Bowl level wide receiver, your starting tight end and plant the seeds of doubt into a young head coaches brain. Either you are completely delusional or are the ultimate, no, the penultimate of all NFL homers. You lost to the Chiefs at home. For the first time at Invesco. When winning was the only chance you had at a shot at the playoffs. And your team gave up. Did you see their faces in the second half? Choked it off for the second year in a row. And now, Andra Davis and Brian Dawkins and Champ Bailey are another year older. You won't have your best player in Marshall. TAILSPIN!!!! |

The second the game ended was the second your team was eliminated. |

Seriously... that is your consolation prize for Denver losing? Have you at least accepted the fact that Denver had to win the game for the Jets' game to even matter in regards to Denver advancing? I've learned to just let your posts roll as all in good fun, but seriously... the points you're sticking to right now in regards to how the loss was better for Denver and worse for KC... and then the whole "KC didn't knock them out stance"... it's sad. Just accept the loss and move on. Denver proved down the stretch that they weren't as good as many thought early on... like it or not, and I don't think it had to be this way, but Josh has put Denver in a rebuilding mode. The franchise wasn't in a 'rebuilding' state when he came on board, but he churned more than half the roster and there are going to be more young players pushed out this off-season. More churn. This team may only have 20% of the players left from the 2008 team when it enters the 2010 season... that's not necessarily a bad thing, but that much churn before the team plays it's 17th regular season game under a new head coach is a lot to overcome. I wish them the best, but I reset my expectations going into 2009 and "I hoped to be surprised with more than 6-7 wins". Well, I got my wish... but it certainly didn't happen in the manner that I desired. This team should have farted their way to 9 wins after that start, but losing to the Redskins on the road and then to the Raiders and Chiefs in Denver... well, that's just not what good teams on the rise do in the NFL. So, the 2009 was bittersweet... there has been a lot of progress, but there's more change coming. Buckle up and get ready. |

What's so bad is if the Raiders get a HC and a real QB it'll be you guys and the Chargers fighting over the AFCW and not them.Hell the BS McDumbass pulled this year set them back a year or 2 at least. It'll take that long to get the taste of the fuggn he just gave Donk nation out of everyones mouth. |

Ayers fined for Jamaal Charles body slam Posted by Mike Florio on January 9, 2010 10:40 AM ET A reader asked us last night to obtain an explanation for the NFL's failure to fine Broncos defensive end Robert Ayers for his Turkey Joe Jones move on Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles in Week 17. As it turns out, no explanation is needed; Ayers was fined. Per NFL spokesman Greg Aiello, the league slapped Ayers with a $5,000 sanction for unnecessary roughness. The hit can be seen at roughly 1:15 of the NFL.com highlight package from the Chiefs' upset of the Broncos. |
